    Hi

    Love the Criss Cross Thesis Skin.  Real pleasure to work with & extremely attractive.

    Okay, I would like my second WP menu to remain in what might be called “compact responsive mode” (i.e., keep the red ‘≡ Browse‘ button displayed no matter what size the screen gets).

    My guess is I just need the right media query to do the trick?

    Hey Andrew,

    First of all, I apologize for the delayed response on this. I have been out of town for a few days with family. I assure you the forum is still up and running.

    As far as your question about menu display, were you referring to the main menu built into Criss Cross or did you add your own WordPress menu somewhere else in your templates?

    I may need to play around with the CSS a little bit.

    The simple way to do this is with the code below but it is not likely a complete solution. Any chance you could give me a link to, or a little more information about the menu (is there a sub-menu?).

    .menu_control {
        display: block !important;
    }

    I know this can be done, we will figure it out.

    Hi Thomas!

    Yeah, just got back my internet service after 2 weeks absence.  Thanks Time Warner!

    I’m a licensed acupuncturist who just wants to convert more people engaging in local search. Most people just want someone who’s close by & who accepts their insurance.  For these visitors, I’m looking to keep the main navigation simple:  Just 5 links.  Right now that main navigation in the inner header area works great in terms of responsiveness.

    The problem is the second WP navigation menu: I don’t want too many nav  links crowding the page.  So to keep it simple, I just wanted a red button  (with the “” menu symbol) that stays the same no matter the size of the screen.  That way anyone wanting to explore some more that just click that red button & have more nav links scroll down vertically.

    Here’s my site: Click here.

    Thanks,

    Andrew

    I went to get started on this fix and it appears your site is not rendering correctly right now. There seems to be three menus currently with one displaying only at a small screen size.

    Are you currently having content formatting issues?

    The templates seem a little out-of-place at the moment.

    Are you still looking for a fix to this? It now appears you have the main menu and another menu that appears when using a small screen size.

    Are you trying to make your main menu always a button?
